CHAI HO JOI-- HAVE A CUP OF NICE TEA

Having a cup of tea is always a pleasure. One can add on to the pleasure by support system that enhances the delight. Sitting in the balcony, having a teapoy on the right side to rest the teacup and plate of biscuits, another teapoy to rest the stretched legs, a mild music adds to the joy.

Biscuits truly enhance the experience of savouring tea. People choose to dip the biscuit mildly in the tea and bite before sipping tea which is not my cup of tea as it soils the biscuit and separates the particles as also pollutes tea. Biscuits come in variety. Some have inbuilt nuts, fruits and jam thickly mingled with the base element.

Such biscuits must be bitten in small piece and stored in the corner over the gums. The tea when sipped and sent inside there is a wonderful coalition of saliva, biscuit bits, and the tea. As the tea travels to the throat through the tongue that is the real charm of tasting the tea. More bites, more sips and more pleasure are the process.

Though the tea is also capable of taste in standalone mode, when one has a mild hunger the combination of biscuits does wonders. When one's hunger is more than mild, it can be chips, bhakarwadi, fafda, ganthia and fried nuts that do the successful coupling more so if the weather is mildly cool. A meet with a friend after a long gap, with the above items in the ‘open to sky’ balcony would be a real treat.

The connoisseurs would savour tea with the bitten pieces awaiting in the corners of gums for the tea to enter and circle around the items just as water does with boulders. As you get up in the morning the tea cup must be larger, and a smaller cup for the second round preferably with thepla or khakra. If in office, a mild dose after a visit to the boss cabin, a second sip when the work pressure is more, a third cup an hour and half after lunch break, a final cup before leaving office. Ideally the tea party can end with a final cup of tea for the day when one enters home from office irrespective of the time.

So have tea as you feel like having a cup and enjoy each day.

TEA HAS TO BE HOT ON ALL OCCASIONS
