NETWORKING--SUCCESSFUL TOOL OF LEADERS FOR DECISION MAKING

Net working is different from liaison. Leaders continuously look for connecting with people to know what is happening or not happening. Liaison is more for business development or to get things done, but networking is more for course correction and control by the leadership.  NETWORKING DONE WITH ALL STRATA A successful leader creates the network with persons down below and relevant to business and transfers the responsibility of continuity of relationship to them. With peers and other superior power centers he takes up personally the duty of networking. 42 ALL OUT IN THE SECOND TEST ON 8 TH JUNE 1974.   SURU NAIK, ONE OF THE PLAYERS WAS              CAUGHT FOR SHOPLIFTING. “YOURS BOYS NOT ONLY PLAY BAD CRICKET BUT ALSO HAVE BAD MANNERS”   (comment by the Indian High Commissioner to England, to the manager of the team, Colonel Hemu Adhikari for walking out of the meeting by the Indian team for getting insulted for late coming to Buckingham Palace.) These three incidents of 1974 resulted in heavy demoralization to the team that they lost the third test also by an innings defeat and lost the series 3-0.
