BUSY PERSON VS LAZY PERSON

  • ·      It is not that a lazy person is not capable of being active, but he is comfortable with idleness.

  • ·      An active person takes rest only when he is tired    mentally and physically. In other words his first choice is work and last choice is rest.

  • ·      A lazy person is an expert in discovery of reasons for not doing a work now.

  • ·      Now, now and only now is the 'mantra' of the active person.

  • ·      A lazy person mentally decides the rest that he would take and ensure it is taken when he undertakes a difficult job.

  • ·      A lazy person also ensures that whenever he is not resting, he is also not working. May be he will read paper or watch TV but not indulge in active work.

  • ·      At the end of the day a busy person looks back at the work/s that he could not finish and plans their execution the next day.

  • ·      An active person's mindset is like an elastic bag. He would accommodate work and engagements almost up to breaking point.


 That is why a busy and active person  finds time for everything and not the lazy person.

EDUCATION AND SCHOOLS

It was a quiz program to test the knowledge of Tamil. Three schools participated out of which two had good brand value and were also from urban/metro areas. The third was from a small remote village near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district. I was delighted when the boys from this school won and earned handsome rewards in cash and kind. It is a middle school of less than 500 students and KPA of teachers include visiting homes of students and convincing parents on value of education to send students to schools instead of work. In others words marketing of a school which did not have brand value. The students wore new uniform for the program and were beaming with confidence to compete. The urge for knowledge and consequent respect and recognition it fetches ignited their spirit to be competitive.
